The focus of the Los Cien environmental justice and equity program is to educate and activate our community around historical barriers to having a healthy environment and what is needed now to (1) spotlight and change systemic inequities that have led to disparate environmental outcomes, (2) advance meaningful involvement of Latinx, and all systemically underrepresented communities, in decisions that affect having a healthy environment, and (3) eliminate environmental and health hazards that affect the community in which we live, learn and work today and into the future.
