Inclusive Community Trainings

The Inclusive Community Trainings (ICTs) are 60-minute sessions designed to provide in-depth knowledge and understanding of four specific topics: the Cycle of Socialization, Implicit Bias, Cultural Humility, and Inclusive Language. The SSU community can select the training that best meets the needs of their team, staff, or classroom. Developed by the HUB Cultural Center, these 60-minute training sessions are a crucial first step in our collective effort to uphold our Seawolf Commitment Values and ensure our campus is free of bias, discrimination, and hate. If interested in one of the Inclusive Community Training sessions, please email austindi@sonoma.edu to schedule.

CORE 4 Training Program

The Core 4 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging training program aims to equip our community with foundational knowledge and a shared language to better understand the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at SSU. Developed by the HUB Cultural Center, this 2-hour training program encompasses all the HUB Inclusive Community Trainings. Participants in this training will receive a HUB Core 4 sticker to display.
