Meet the panelists below! 

Jor Grapentine 

Jor Grapentine

Jor Grapentine (they/them) is a neurodivergent, non-binary, queer, femme person with a working class background. They earned their Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Denver as a first generation college student. Currently, they are the Gender & Sexuality Program Coordinator at Sonoma State University where they prioritize the needs of trans, gender expansive, and queer students.

Atiya McGhee

Atiya McGhee

Atiya McGhee (They/Them) is a fat Black non-binary Queer cat mom hailing all from da Bronx. They currently work as a House Advisor and Assistant Director of Residential Life at Vassar College. They received their B.A in Creative Writing and Literature from Wheaton College (MA) and their M.Ed in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. Their passion for equity is kindled by their vision of liberation where BiPOC and other marginalized identities do not live in the liminal space of morality but have an endless abundance to live and live safely, vulnerable, and authentically. Outside of the academic, Atiya describes themselves as a blerd for all things anime, fanfiction, and k-pop. 

Li Miles

Li Miles (she/they) is a higher education content creator and organization inclusion strategist. Li is a proud HBCU graduate (2013) from North Carolina Central University and received their Masters in Higher Education from Indiana University (2015). Li is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and studying the impact of and inclusive anti-racist educational pedagogy for queer and trans learners of color. Li enjoys long walks on the beach, good vegan eats, and playing competitive dodgeball and kickball. 

Esperanza Santos 

Esperanza Santos

Esperanza Santos is a trans educator and community organizer. She was raised in San Diego with roots to Zacatecas, Mexico. She promotes family acceptance of LGBT loved ones, especially in Spanish speaking communities. She is currently a graduate student in Rutgers Newark American Studies PhD program.
