Positive Images provides LGBTQIA+ Cultural Competency training and presentations to schools, businesses, and community groups across Sonoma County. Over the last three decades we have worked with local universities, high, middle, and elementary schools to provide both educators and students a culturally responsive understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community and the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ students in the classroom and beyond. Together we explore definitions and terminology, learn strategies of effective allyship, and discuss resources for the queer and trans community. Email thehub@sonoma.edu to receive the zoom link.
